GummySearch was a web app for Reddit audience research: pick a set of subreddits, then browse pain points, solution requests, and trends with saved searches and email alerts. It charged $29 to $59 a month and was a standard recommendation on r/indiehackers for years.

Reasons to stay.
- A visual UI. If you want to browse and scroll rather than ask, GummySearch was better and Reddibee is not trying to be that.
- Years of saved audiences. Reddibee starts from the communities you name, and backfills new ones on demand.
- One-off exports. Reddibee returns data to your agent, not a CSV to your downloads folder.
Reasons to switch.
- It is where you already work. The question and the answer happen in the same chat as the code.
- Three more sources. Hacker News and X are where devtool demand shows up first; GummySearch never had them.
- Classification, not keywords. "Anyone found a decent self-hosted Calendly" is an ask; "Calendly is great" is not. Reddibee tells them apart.
- It still exists, and it is a third of the price.

Name your audiences
Tell your agent the subreddits you tracked. Reddibee subscribes to them and backfills recent threads.

Can I import my GummySearch audiences?
There is no import file to read, but the audiences were just lists of subreddits. Paste the list to your agent and it will subscribe to all of them in one call.
Why did GummySearch shut down?
It announced its closure for 30 November 2025. Reddibee is built for the rules as they stand today: it reads through official APIs under Reddit’s Responsible Builder Policy and never builds a profile of an individual user.
Is there a web UI at all?
The dashboard shows your keys, usage, watches and alerts. The research itself happens in your agent. If you want a point-and-click browser, this is the wrong tool.
