Refund policy
Last updated 20 September 2026
Short version: try it free first, and if a paid month did not work for you, ask and we will refund it. This policy sits alongside the terms of service and applies to purchases made directly through Reddibee.
Start free
Every account starts on the Free plan with 10 requests a day and one watch. Upgrade only once Reddibee is part of your week, so most people never need a refund at all.
First paid month
If you upgrade and it is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of the first charge for a full refund. No questions, no form. This applies to your first paid month on each plan.
Later months
Cancel any time from your dashboard and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Renewals are not refunded once the new period has started, except in the downtime case below. Cancelling before a renewal date means you are not charged again.
Downtime credits
If Reddibee was down or materially degraded for a significant part of a paid period, tell us and we will refund that period in full, or credit your next one, whichever you prefer. Outages caused by an upstream platform (Reddit, X, Hacker News, Product Hunt) changing or limiting their API are outside our control and are not automatically refundable, but we will still work with you in good faith.
Annual plans
If we offer an annual plan and you cancel partway through, we refund the unused whole months on request, minus any discount that only applied because you paid annually. The 14-day full-refund window also applies to the first annual charge.
What is not covered
- Charges older than 14 days on a plan you have kept using, outside the downtime case.
- Accounts suspended for breaking the terms of service.
- Taxes, where they are non-refundable under local law.
- Requests already used against your plan — usage is not billed per item, so there is nothing to reverse.
How to ask
Email billing@reddibee.com from the address on your account and tell us which charge you mean. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.
Statutory rights
This policy is in addition to any refund or cancellation rights you have under consumer law in your country. Nothing here takes those away.
