Terms of service

The service

Reddibee provides read-only access to public social content through an MCP server and a web dashboard. It reads Reddit, X, Hacker News and Product Hunt through their official APIs and returns classified results with permalinks. Content belongs to the people who posted it and to the platforms that host it. Reddibee gives you a way to find and cite it, not a licence to republish it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract to use Reddibee. If you use it for an organisation, these terms bind that organisation.

Your account and keys

• Keep your API keys private. Anything done with your key counts against your plan and is your responsibility.
• One account per person or company. You may mint up to five keys.
• Keep your account details accurate and your email current, so alerts and notices reach you.
• Tell us promptly if you think a key has leaked; you can revoke and re-mint keys from your dashboard.
• We may suspend keys that scrape, resell access, or try to bypass the daily cap.

Acceptable use

Use Reddibee to research, validate, monitor and cite. You agree not to:

• Harass, dox, or build profiles of individuals.
• Spam communities or use results to send unsolicited messages at scale.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service or bulk-export its data.
• Reverse engineer, probe, or try to bypass rate limits, the daily cap, or security controls.
• Break the terms of Reddit, X, Hacker News or Product Hunt, or any applicable law.

Content and ownership

Social content stays owned by its authors and platforms; Reddibee does not grant you any rights in it beyond viewing and citing it. You are responsible for how you use results. Reddibee and its software, brand, and design remain ours. Any feedback you send us, we may use without obligation to you.

Plans and billing

• Free is free: 10 requests per UTC day.
• Starter and Pro are paid plans that renew monthly through Stripe until you cancel.
• One tool invocation is one request, regardless of how many items it returns.
• Prices are exclusive of any taxes, which we add where required.
• Failed payments may lead to your paid features being paused until payment succeeds.

Cancellation

Cancel any time from your dashboard. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.

Availability

We aim to keep the service up, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may run maintenance, change or remove features, and update rate limits as the service evolves.

Third-party platforms

Reddibee depends on the APIs of Reddit, X, Hacker News and Product Hunt. Those platforms control their own data, terms, and availability, and may change or limit access at any time. We are not responsible for their content, decisions, or downtime, and your use of results must comply with their terms.

No warranty

Reddibee is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that results are complete, current, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Reddibee is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to cover Reddibee against claims, losses, and costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms or of any law or third-party platform terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, put the service or its providers at risk, or fail to pay. You may stop using Reddibee and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, warranty, liability, indemnity) do so.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will email account holders at least 14 days before a material change to the terms or to pricing. Continuing to use Reddibee after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law gives you other rights.
